Creativity and Teaching Sessions
What You Can Expect From Our Sessions
Through the years, I have been so privileged to have many of my songs sung around the world by the body of Christ. I do not consider myself a song writer, though. My personal identity as a musically creative person is that of song receiver. It is my desire to share the freedom I have found in this type of perspective with any who desire to know the methodology of creating music in this manner. As a result of all God has done through my music, I receive many requests for my time in one on one sessions. To help facilitate such a session, I am making myself available for Skype sessions.
In addition, I have been blessed to be able to lead worship gatherings both large and small, traversing many denominational settings. Worshiping Jesus has been my preferred weapon of spiritual warfare as well as the key to the abundant life I have lived in spite of the enemy’s schemes against my life. I feel I have gained wisdom through my life experiences that may be helpful to others. How does one facilitate relationship with Christ through worship in this generation?
Someone once told me I would one day run out of song ideas – out of inspiration. I looked at them and said, “You have just limited the God I know…because He is so immense and massive in nature that I would never run out of inspiration or ways to express my praise for Him and His love for me!” Through the years, I have developed quite an immense arsenal of tools that help spur me on to deep creativity. I honestly can say I never experience writer’s block as long as I am walking relationally with Jesus!
How To Write a Book
When I began the incredible journey of knowing Christ, little did I know that one day I would be so full of healing and joy that it would take volumes to write it all down. Before I ever had a publisher, I had written my first book. My authoring began simply as devotional studies/guides based on and borne of my music. From there, I eventually branched out into writing my autobiography…and from there, four fantasy novels for young adults…and most recently, a novel for adults full of real-life drama based on my own life and others I have been blessed to minister to through the years. To date, I have written some 25 books! I’d love the opportunity to share what I have learned through the process of growing as a writer.
