I Surrender was a labor of love on the part of Dennis Jernigan. Some of his favorite songs became part of this recording. The very nature of surrendering to God – letting go of our sin, our past – and clinging to the One Who redeems and gives us a hope and a future – make this one of the most worshipful albums in Jernigan’s catalog, though one of the least-known of gems. Jernigan firmly believes that if a heart is led to freedom then that heart will worship. These songs are a manifestation of that belief.
