"This song came about after I was told that I wasn’t good enough to lead worship. I knew that I wasn’t the most skilled musician, but all I wanted was to help out with the church youth praise team. I had been the worship leader for the past year and had practiced all summer in preparation for the coming school year. Five days before our first time back from summer break I was told I was ‘not what they were looking for.’ I felt as if I was on fire with passion but that they were trying to tame me…to dampen the flames of passion for Jesus in my heart. What they were actually after was someone to be rowdy and that was not my heart anyway. My desire was to lead my friends into the deep places of worship with the Lord. After awhile it became apparent that I did not fit the mold they were trying to put me in. This song came the night I was told I had been replaced as the worship leader."-----Galen Jernigan
