Verse
Time is a puzzle I don’t understand
I can feel but I cannot see it
I feel its weight when I try to remember
Running out when I try to conceive it
This world is all too ready to accommodate my needs
Eternal needs with superficial pleasures
But I do not need any immediate remedy
I would rather wait for my eternal treasures
Chorus
When time will be consumed
By the blessings You have for me
And I will be consumed
By the weight of all Your glory
And time will be consumed
When eyes open to Truth
And I will be consumed in You
In You
Verse
Time is so fleeting
Like dust in the wind
Yet I put too much faith in what’s instant
When the very thing I need is right before my eyes
But in my own strength I make it too distant
This world is all too ready to accommodate my needs
Eternal needs with superficial pleasures
But I do not need any immediate remedy
I would rather wait for my eternal treasures
Chorus
