The name of Jesus is certainly used in a variety of ways in our day and time. I cringe whenever I hear someone use His name in vain – as a word of expressing disgust or used as a cuss word. But something I have to consider is that the Lord will use even these misuses of the name in some good and holy way. Why do I say that? Because I believe there is power and hope and healing and love in that name – regardless of how it is used! How’s that for a Kingdom point of view?! Today, let’s determine to use that name as it was intended – and let us use its misuse as a point of prayer and hope for the person who used it in that way. In this way, love wins the day!
