We all face many battles in our lives. The greatest battleground in every person’s life? Our minds! That’s right. Our mind is the biggest battleground. There is always something or someone vying for our attentions – for our thoughts. As a man or woman thinks of himself or herself, so they will be. If someone sees himself or herself a loser, they can expect to lose in life. If someone sees themselves as one who can overcome obstacles if life, they will be able to overcome obstacles! I decided a long time ago that I could either set myself up to succeed or I could set myself up to fail…and the place I made that decision? In my mind! Rather than listen to all the other voices that vie for my attention and try to hold me back or keep me down, I decided to believe only the best about myself! And guess what? That is the proper view a person should have e concerning their life! What battles do you face in your life? Are you going to allow them to defeat you or are you going to use them to help you be a better person in this life? The choice is easy. Will you be like Leonolis and choose to fight or will you be like Lucian and blame others for his misfortunes?
