What inspired this song?
After all I had been through while growing up,
I never thought I’d get married...but that all
changed the day I saw the woman who would
one day be my wife. I still remember the first
time I ever saw her. Her beauty was captivating...
and she was so girly...yet fiery...and I liked that!
The words of this song flowed quite easily as I
thought back on meeting and seeing Melinda
for the first time. Leonolis needed to experience
the love of a woman and I could not think of a
better inspiration for the character of Abila than
my beautiful wife, Melinda. This is one of my
favorite songs in this collection.

Verse
That skinny girl with auburn hair, so giggly and annoying,
Has blossomed into beauty rare and with my heart she's toying!
I used to find her far too frilly, full of girly pink and too much lace!
But now I find that thought so silly with one glimpse of her face!
Chorus
Her hair, like waves, comes flowing down, cascading 'round her face.
Like a frame around a work of art, exquisite beauty's grace!
Like some unspoken magic spell that wizards know not of.
But does she know she holds my heart with this magic they call love?
Verse
Her eyes like sparkling diamonds blue, beguile me like a daydream
From which I never want to wake. And I'm sure this is her scheme!
Her skin like finest alabaster. Smell of honeysuckle on the vine.
I'm mesmerized just walking past her! I hope to make her mine!
Chorus
Her hair, like waves, comes flowing down, cascading 'round her face.
Like a frame around a work of art, exquisite beauty's grace!
Like some unspoken magic spell that wizards know not of.
But does she know she holds my heart with this magic they call love?
Bridge
Why does my heart begin to pound, my knees begin to shake
Whenever I catch sight of her? What magic does she make?
Chorus
Her hair, like waves, comes flowing down, cascading 'round her face.
Like a frame around a work of art, exquisite beauty's grace!
Like some unspoken magic spell that wizards know not of.
But does she know she holds my heart with this magic they call love?
