Every fall, usually around August, I begin thinking about Christmas. Don’t ask me why. I just do! This past August was no different. Since Melinda and I are grandparents to - so far - eleven grandchildren, I wanted to write a song that explained the reason we celebrate Christmas in the first place. This song was born for that purpose. We celebrate Christmas to thank God for sending us the Savior, Christ the risen King!
