Risen Lord! Redeemer!

This song came as I meditated on my current situation - Parkinson’s Disease - and how to keep my eyes focused on Jesus and His point of view. As I asked the Lord what to declare over my circumstances, I felt the simple nudge of the words ‘return to your first love’. When it seems my world is falling apart, I need to simplify my point of view and remember that Jesus is the Answer. Period. Jesus dealt with Parkinson’s on the cross so I can experience the grace I need to endure it in spite of what may come. Jesus is Lord and Redeemer…and it doesn’t need to be any more complicated than that! This song is a reminder to my own soul to always return to - always turn to - my first love. His name is Jesus!

2 'I know your deeds and your toil and perseverance, and that you cannot tolerate evil men, and you put to the test those who call themselves apostles, and they are not, and you found them [to be] false; 3 and you have perseverance and have endured for My name's sake, and have not grown weary. 4 'But I have [this] against you, that you have left your first love. 5 'Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and repent and do the deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you and will remove your lampstand out of its place--unless you repent.’
Revelation 2:2-5 NASB
We love, because He first loved us. 1 John 4:19 NASB

One day every tongue will shout
