This song was inspired by a sermon on Resurrection Sunday by my pastor; Chuck Angel. During one portion of his teaching, Chuck spoke the phrase "resurrection power" in a rhythmic pattern, and I was let to write down that pattern in my manuscript book so I could meditate on it over the next few days. This phrase had pierced my heart and I could not stop thinking about it...mainly because the awesome power that had raised Christ from the dead was now the power of God alive in me!
