We overcome the enemy by the blood of the Lamb, by the word of our testimony, and by not loving our lives even to the point of death. Another aspect of overcoming the enmy by the word of our testimony is when I see others who have paid the price for freedom–and allow their very lives to give testimony to God's saving power. Part of my nature in Christ is to encourage others. One of the ways I desired to do that was to bring honor to those I consider to be heros. This song came for all those I look up to as courageous and unwavering in their faith; to those who inspire me by receiving God's grace through the most difficult of times; for Chuck, Melinda, Kathy, Terry...and anyone else not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ...for anyone who willingly lays down his or her life for another. These are my heros.
