Sing Merry Christmas - Song History

This Christmas song came in the middle
of the summer! I love Christmas music
ANY time of the year, but the story
behind this song is quite simple. When my
children were small, I wrote them stories. 
One story in particular was called 
The Christmas Dream. It was written for 
my son, Judah, as a way of explaining 
the reason for the birth of Jesus - to 
explain the Gospel. During the past year,
I sent several of those stories I had written
so long ago to my publisher. Soon, I heard 
they were interested in publishing all of 
my children's stories! As part of that 
publishing arrangement, I was asked
to produce audio versions of each book.
During that period I thought it would be
nice to have a song for each audio book.
As I thought about the story and how
Judah experienced the wonder of God
and of Christmas during the story,
I began to hear this song in my heart
and mind. Remember to enjoy the 
presence of God this Christmas season.
Become like little children full of awe 
and wonder at Who God is. rejoice!
