As I was laying my head on my pillow, ready to sleep through the night, a song began wafting through my mind. Having had many instances in my lifetime of hearing from God at moments like this, I grabbed my trusty iPhone and groggily sang the first verse into the phone and rolled over and went to sleep. When I finally listened to the recording three days later, I wrote the song down on manuscript and realized that the Lord had given me a new Christmas song. It is a declaration of the truth that Jesus Christ was born as a gift to mankind and is meant to remind worshippers of that truth and to be used as an instrument of praise to God based on Isaiah 9:6 and Isaiah 7:14.
