This recording was born out of need. A friend of Dennis Jernigan lost his 6-year-old song in an accident. Desiring a way to minister to the family, this recording began to take shape. As Jernigan thought about how best to minister to those in grief, he realized that he had walked through loss with many friends and in the process had received many songs through the years that lent themselves to that type of ministry. Most of the songs were received from the Father’s perspective. Jernigan encourages the listened to forget about him and to listen for their Father’s heart. Dennis also wrote a devotional book to accompany this recording. It details not only the stories behind the songs but gives helpful insight into ministering to those who are dealing with grief.
