This is one of the earlier recordings of Dennis Jernigan’s career and ministry. The songs were born out of his desire to overcome the enemy in his own life and then, in turn, to lead others to that same freedom. This album contains songs of militant spiritual warfare as well as songs of intimate worship. This entire collection is quite an encouraging project and is a great picture into the early ministry of Dennis Jernigan.
Standout songs include the duet between DJ and his then 5-year-old son, Israel, I Trust In Thee, the powerful In The Shadow Of Thy Wings, and the statement of faith Not Even Death.
